 ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering training opportunities to individuals in possession of grade 12 certificates to be trained as a Process Operator focusing on the Steel Manufacturing Process. The training program is based on a structured outcome-based approach which includes institutional and on the job training. Regular assessment and progress monitoring will form an integral part of the Learnership program. Opportunities are available across our Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging Operations.

The Production Learnership includes Training related cost, Personal Protective Equipment, Payment of Institutional Training, On-site Personal Insurance, as well as, a monthly stipend. Permanent employment on completion is not guaranteed.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • An individual with a Grade 12 qualification with English, Mathematics or Mathematical literacy, Physical Science (advantageous).
  • A Team player and problem solver.
  • Self motivated with great attention to detail.
